John Henry VanderWeg, 100 of Kentwood, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Metron of Forest Hills. John was born March 18, 1912 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Peter and Henrietta (Hammer) VanderWeg. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The services will be conducted by the Amvets Post #23. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
