Marian Hulda Gould, 85 of Sand Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 surrounded by her family in her home. After only four brief months of separation, Marian is reunited with her loving husband, Ed Gould. Marian was born November 29, 1926 in Trufant, MI the daughter of John and Anna (Weber) Wulff. This little lady graduated from Sand Lake High School where she played basketball and met her husband at one of her games. They married on Nov. 29, 1947 and shared 64 great years together. Marian spent her entire life caring for others. She doted on her husband and five children. No one ever doubted her love for her husband. Her life revolved around him, her children and grandchildren. She desired to be a part of her whole family’s lives by attending birthday parties, dance recitals, ball games, holiday events, special dinners and everything in between. When you walked through the door at Grandma’s house you were definitely spoiled with her treats and above all her undivided attention. When she wasn’t focusing on her family, she enjoyed gardening, camping, crafts, baking and trips to the ice cream parlor. Later in life, she loved spending her winters with her many friends in Florida. She was very thankful to have made a final trip there after her husband’s death. Marian was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by many. Remember her whenever you have a bowl of ice cream or hold a baby. Surviving are her children, John Gould, Larry Gould, Bill Gould, Steve Gould, Sue (Jim) Pike; sister, Irene (Pat) Townes; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tex Ritter.
